It has a heat-reflective 2-person emergency blanket to provide warmth and shelter from the elements. The Fire Lite™ fire striker and waterproof tinder can produce multiple campfires to also keep you warm while you wait. Signal rescuers your location with a 100 decibel Slim Rescue Howler or the Rescue Flash Signal Mirror. The survival whistle can be heard up to 1 mile away and the signal mirror has a retro-reflective aiming aid to make it easy to be seen for up to 10 miles. If you need to find your own way around, the Scout Kit also has a liquid-filled compass that will help you navigate.
