The DC Mondo features a similar design to the Cut Down Key Hole calls made famous by guides hunting high pressured, public grounds ducks in the hardwood bottoms of Arkansas and Louisiana. Its short insert creates very little backpressure, allowing hunters to crank out the hard, loud, raspy lick of a mallard hen as well as the loud squeaky chatter desired by guides working in public ground areas.
