The 4-piece NXT Black Label fly rod features a medium-fast action that loads easily yet offers plenty of forgiveness; it's fitted with aluminum-oxide stripping guides, chromium-impregnated stainless steel snake guides, and an anodized-aluminum up-locking reel seat. The 5-weight has a half-wells grip, while the 8-weight has a full wells grip. The rod is paired with a matching cast-aluminum NXT BLK fly reel with a stainless steel alternating disc drag system; the reel comes loaded with 20-lb. Dacron® backing, upsized premium weight-forward fly line, and leader. Includes Cordura® rod/reel travel case. Manufacturer's lifetime warranty.
