Hunters play an important role in Alberta's CWD monitoring by submitting heads of harvested deer for CWD testing. If you have harvested an animal in a CWD-monitored zone, stop by Cabela's Edmonton South and submit the head for testing. Located outside on the southwest corner of our store building is a CWD-marked freezer. Please follow the instructions on the freezer for proper submission of your game. The successful completion of the adult courses allows anyone 18 years of age or older to purchase non-restricted firearms. Successful completion of the Non-Restricted course must occur before moving on to the Restricted course. It is not mandatory to take the Restricted course. Anyone interested that is 12 years of age or older can contact Certified Firearms Instructor, Shelly Reddon at firstname.lastname@example.org for additional course details and pricing information. All necessary materials are included in the course costs and course fees are paid directly to the instructor.
