The 70,000-square-foot store features a two-storey Conservation Mountain, archery range, world-class Gun Library, and hundreds of wild game trophies. The successful completion of the adult courses allows anyone 18 years of age or older to purchase non-restricted and/or restricted firearms. Successful completion of the Non-Restricted course must occur before moving on to the Restricted course. It is not mandatory to take the Restricted course. Cabela's Edmonton South will now host the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course on the Tuesday evening following the Non-Restricted Course, which is held on the first Sunday of the month. Individuals must pass the Non-Restricted Course before taking the Restricted course. Successful completion of this course allows you to own and purchase a restricted firearm (handguns and certain semi-automatic rifles). Individuals may register by contacting Hans Brink at 780-459-9656 or brinkh@shaw.ca. All of the necessary materials are included in the course cost of $100 per student paid to the instructor.
