Description

Cabela's Ottawa is located at 3065 Palladium Dr. and is one of two locations in Ontario. This 70,000-square-foot store is designed to surround customers in an immersive outdoor experience with exterior features including log construction, stonework, wood siding and a metal roof. Inside, visitors will find museum-quality wildlife displays, a large mountain replica, indoor archery range, firearms counter, conference room, fudge shop and Bargain Cave along with thousands of quality hunting, fishing and outdoor products.

Whether it’s hunting, fishing, hiking, camping or other outdoor adventures, Cabela’s encourages women and entire families to embrace their passion for the outdoors. Cabela’s Ladies’ Day Out provides women and their families an opportunity to enhance their knowledge of outdoor activities while meeting and sharing experiences with other outdoor enthusiasts.

Cabela’s staff and local partners will offer educational workshops and insight on outdoor products and activities free of charge. Additionally, all who participate in the event will qualify for a discount on in-store purchases.

The first 50 people registered will receive a gift bag. There will be giveaways throughout the day, as well as snacks and beverages. For each seminar that you participate in, you will receive a chance to win a Cabela's prize package.

To register, email kaitlyn.nuttall@cabelas.ca and provide first and last names of all ladies registering. Check-in for the day’s activities will begin at 10 a.m. at the main entrance of the store.

*Student must have a PAL or proof of successful Completion of the  CFSC. This course is for Students, who have completed the Non Restricted Course more than 30 days ago, without a PAL.

Course Schedule:
Friday: CFSC  5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Sunday: Hunter Ed 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, followed by Examinations.

*Students who wish to hunt with Archery Equipment only, or Students with Proof of completion of the Canadian Firearms Safety Course may register for the Hunter Education Portion.

For Students who wish to hunt with Archery Equipment only, and Students who have completed the Canadian Firearms Safety Course with Proof. Students may register for the Hunter Ed portion of the One Stop  Program. (Option 4 above)

*A PAL is not Proof. The Student  may have challenged the Exam in the Past. Students without proof will require an additional 2.5hours of firearms training.
