It starts with Remington’s A.M.P.(Accelerated Muzzleloader Performance) Ignition System that handles 200-grain magnum charges of powder for true 300 yard performance. The A.M.P. system uses primed centerfire brass with Remington 9-1/2 large magnum primer for maximum burn and efficiency of Ultra Magnum charges of up to 200 grains. The primed brass is easier to handle in the field compared to handling small 209 shotshell primers and spare primed cases can be stored conveniently in the compartment below the receiver. By pairing this innovative new ignition system with the proven Model 700™ receiver and add in a 26-inch stainless steel fluted barrel with a Bell and Carlson synthetic stock, you have the ultimate foundation for muzzleloading accuracy, precision and power.
