What are the customer benefits of uniting these companies?
This is an opportunity to create a “best of the best” shopping experience for all outdoor enthusiasts. It means more selection as we are bringing together the best in fishing with Bass Pro Shops, the best in Hunting with Cabela’s and the best in boating with Tracker Boats. Increased buying power will also help us deliver greater value to our customers. At the same time, it means continuing to provide unmatched expert service. In general, we plan to retain and grow everything customers love about both brands. As a bonus, we also plan to be a powerful, unified voice for conservation and become a stronger advocate for the outdoors and sportsmen’s rights.

Gift Cards

Will Bass Pro Shops gift cards be honored at Cabela’s locations and vice versa?
Customers can exchange a Bass Pro Shops gift card to a Cabela’s gift card for an equal amount and vice versa. Gift cards are exchanged at the customer service counter in either store or by contacting our online customer service centers. To exchange a Cabela’s gift card that you would like to use at Bass Pro Shops, call 1-800-211-6440 to have it exchanged. To exchange a Bass Pro Shops gift card that you would like to use at Cabela’s, call 1-800-265-6245 to have it exchanged. We are working to improve this process moving forward.

Will the company’s name change?
We will continue celebrating and promoting both the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s brands as we bring our two great companies together.
Will existing exclusive brands and products still be available at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s?
Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s have strong national proprietary brands in several categories. Our goal is to continue developing and growing our brands to ensure we provide the same exceptional quality, service and value that customers have come to know and trust from Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s exclusive products.
Will the online sites combine?
There are no immediate plans to combine the websites

Rewards

I don’t have the credit cards but will there be any changes to my Bass Pro Shops Outdoor Rewards program?
There is no plan for changes to the Bass Pro Shops Outdoor Rewards program at this time. Rewards members will continue to earn points towards free gear at Bass Pro Shops.
Can I redeem my Bass Pro Shops Outdoor Rewards points at either location?
Unfortunately at this time, today Bass Pro Shops Outdoor Rewards points can only be redeemed at Bass Pro Shops locations. We are working on solutions to better connect the programs and will update you on any future enhancements.
Do I need to use all my Bass Pro Shops Outdoor Rewards points by a particular date?
No, customers will retain their current Outdoor Rewards points balances.
Will the Bass Pro Shops Outdoor Rewards or Cabela’s CLUB names change?
We will continue celebrating and promoting both the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s brands as we bring our two great companies together. No further decisions have been made at this time. At this time both programs will retain their current names.

Discounts

Will Bass Pro Shops discounts apply at Cabela’s locations and vice versa?
At this time, discount codes from Bass Pro Shops do not apply at Cabela’s locations and vice versa. We’re working on future enhancements and will provide updates as they happen.
What will the Military Discounts be at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s?
Honoring our active military and veterans is very important. For now, each store will maintain their own current discount programs.  We are working to combine both plans into one program in the near future.
Will my Bass Pro Shops VIP discount work at Cabela’s?
At this time Bass Pro Shops VIP discount cards cannot be used at Cabela’s locations.  We are working on aligning the program and will update you as enhancements are made.
Can I use my Tracker, Nitro, Mako, Sun Tracker, Regency or Tahoe Boat VIP discount at Cabela’s?
Unfortunately at this time Bass Pro Shops Tracker Boats VIP discount cards cannot be used at Cabela’s locations. Though we are not yet able to accept Tracker Boats VIP at Cabela’s locations, as one of our most valued customers, we plan to honor the discount at all locations as soon as possible.

Events & Promotions

Will Cabela’s promotions be applicable at Bass Pro Shops and vice versa?
Select promotions and special prices will be available at all locations over the next few months. Check your Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s fliers, and basspro.com, cabelas.com and cabelas.ca to see all of our great deals at both locations.
Will Bass Pro Shops continue hosting Santa’s Wonderland? Will Cabela’s begin hosting Santa’s Wonderland as well?
We are excited to continue offering our most popular events to customers moving forward while considering ways to deliver the best of the best at each location. Santa’s Wonderland will be back in all Bass Pro Shops locations in 2017 and for the foreseeable future. We are working towards offering similar events in Cabela’s locations in 2018.
Will Bass Pro Shops continue to offer free events for families? Will these events also be offered at Cabela’s locations?
We are excited to continue offering our most popular events to customers moving forward while considering ways to deliver the best of the best at all locations. Decisions are still being made and we do not anticipate any scheduling changes through 2017.

Products

Will the products at either store change?
Our goal is to bring together the best gear from both Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s. Product decisions are still being made but we’re excited to provide greater selection and high-quality products at all locations in the near future.
Will prices change on any products?
There may be different prices through promotions or catalog offers but we are working to make everyday pricing consistent in all locations and channels to provide our customers with the best outdoor gear at exceptional value.
Will I be able to return Cabela’s purchases to Bass Pro Shops locations and vice versa?
Yes, Cabela’s purchases can be returned to customer service counters in store at Bass Pro Shops and vice versa or by contacting our online customer service centers.
Will Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s product warranties still be honored?
All product warranties for products purchased at Bass Pro Shops or Cabela’s will be honored. Exchanges or returns for like items will be accepted at all Bass Pro Shops or Cabela’s locations.
Can a Cabela’s location tell me if my product is still in stock at a Bass Pro Shops location and vice versa?
We do not currently have the capabilities to review Bass Pro Shops product inventory from a Cabela’s location and vice versa but hope to have improved access in the near future.
Will I be able to take my Gear Guard warranty into Cabela’s for a claim?
We are currently unable to process Gear Guard claims at Cabela’s locations. However, it is still easy for you to make a claim online at www.mygearguard.com, in Bass Pro Shops stores or call 1-877-920-4400.  We will update you on any future enhancements.
Will my Cabela’s lifetime guarantees be honored by the new company and can these items be returned at Bass Pro Shops locations?
Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s will continue honoring all lifetime guarantees and any other warranties on its products. Customers can make a return or claim at any location for a refund or exchange for a comparable item.
Will my Bass Pro Shops Lifetime Guarantee be honored by the new company and can these items be returned at Cabela’s locations?
Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s will continue honoring all Lifetime Guarantee and any other warranties on its products. Customers can make a return or claim at any location for a refund or exchange for a comparable item.
Will Cabela’s continue to trade/buy used firearms?
There are no plans to alter this program at this time.

Will wish lists still be offered at Bass Pro Shops?
Yes, wish lists are accessible to customers at Bass Pro Shops moving forward. At this time the Bass Pro Shops wish lists will not be accessible through Cabela’s. We are evaluating this opportunity.
Will wish lists now be offered at Cabela’s?
Yes, wish lists are accessible to customers at Cabela’s moving forward.  At this time, the Cabela’s wish list will not be accessible through Bass Pro Shops.  We are evaluating this opportunity.
Can I use “ship to store” on cabelas.com or cabelas.ca to send products to a Bass Pro Shops location for pick-up and vice versa?
At this time “ship to store” cannot be used to pick-up cabelas.com or cabelas.ca orders at a Bass Pro Shops location and vice versa. This is a service we hope to provide in the near future.
 Will Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s continue to provide round up programs for Conservation groups and charitable organizations?
Yes, we will continue to offer round up programs for our customers to participate in.  At this time the round up programs operate differently at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s.  In the future, we will work towards combining the round up program.
 Will I still continue to receive Bass Pro Shops or Cabela’s catalogs in the mail?
Yes, there are no plans to stop mailing catalogs
